Terms & Conditions for Sponsors and Donors
Welcome to the Website and Donation Platform to Special Olympics Bangladesh. By
providing financial or in-kind support, sponsors and donors agree to the following terms.
1. Purpose of Sponsorships and Donations
All sponsorships and donations are intended to support the Athletes Training, Coaches Training
Sports Events Organize (Nationally and Internationally), Healthcare Support and development
initiatives of Special Olympics Bangladesh.
2. Eligibility
Sponsors and donors must be individuals, companies, organizations, or institutions legally
permitted to make financial or in-kind contributions under applicable laws and regulations.
3. Nature of Contributions
- Contributions may be
financial (cash/online transfer) or in-kind (goods or services).
- All donations are
considered voluntary and non-refundable, unless otherwise stated in writing.
- Sponsorship amounts,
duration, benefits, payment methods, and recognition details will be confirmed through an
official sponsorship agreement or written confirmation.
4. Use of Funds
- Funds will be
utilized at the discretion of Special Olympics Bangladesh to best advance its objectives.
- While reasonable
efforts will be made to apply funds to the intended purpose, the organization reserves the
right to reallocate funds if necessary for operational or programmatic reasons.
5. Recognition and Branding
- Sponsors may be
acknowledged on the website, promotional materials, reports, or events according to their
sponsorship tier (e.g., Platinum, Gold, Silver).
- Logo placement, size,
duration, and visibility will be determined solely by Special Olympics Bangladesh.
- Recognition does not
imply endorsement of any product, service, or commercial activity.
6. Event Participation
- Sponsors and donors
may be invited to participate in or attend events organized by Special Olympics Bangladesh,
subject to event capacity, safety guidelines, and organizational policies.
- The organization
reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances.
7. Donations and Payment Modes
- Donations and
sponsorship payments may be made through approved payment modes including bank transfer,
online payment gateways, mobile financial services, cheques, or other methods authorized by
Special Olympics Bangladesh.
- All payments must be
made in the official name of Special Olympics Bangladesh.
- Donors are
responsible for any bank charges, transaction fees, or currency conversion costs unless
otherwise agreed.
- Confirmation receipts
or acknowledgements will be issued upon successful receipt of funds.
8. Use of Name, Logo, and Materials
- Sponsors may not use
the name, logo, or brand of Special Olympics Bangladesh without prior written consent.
- Any approved use must
strictly follow the organization’s branding guidelines.
9. Taxation
- Tax deductibility (if
applicable) depends on prevailing laws and donor jurisdiction.
10. Confidentiality and Privacy
- Donor information
will be handled in accordance with the organization’s Privacy Policy.
- Personal and
financial details will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where
required by law.
11. Cancellation and Termination
- Sponsors may request
cancellation of future sponsorship periods by written notice.
- Special Olympics
Bangladesh reserves the right to terminate sponsorships if a sponsor’s actions conflict with
its mission, values, or legal obligations.
12. Limitation of Liability
The organization shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
arising from sponsorship or donation arrangements.
13. Amendments
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. Continued sponsorship or donation
constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of
Bangladesh.
