Young Athletes Training & Family Program | Rupganj, Narayanganj

On 8 September 2026, Special Olympics Bangladesh conducted a Young Athletes Training and Family Awareness Program at Anirban Disabled and Child Care School, Rupganj, Narayanganj.

A total of 17 children with intellectual disabilities, aged 4–8 years, participated in a series of fun-based activities. With the active support of teachers, volunteers, Unified Athletes, and parents, the children enjoyed different activity stations, football kicking and a running competition.

Following the Young Athletes activities, around 15 parents/guardians and teachers participated in the Family Awareness Program, focusing on the important role of families in supporting the health, wellbeing, development and regular physical activity of children with intellectual disabilities.
