On 30 June 2026, Special Olympics Bangladesh organized a vibrant Family Health Forum at Autism Care Special School. The event was graced by the presence of the school's respected Principal, Mr. Md. Jasim Uddin. Also present were Mr. Faruqul Islam, National Director of Special Olympics Bangladesh, along with other officials.The forum aimed to promote health awareness among families of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Two informative sessions were conducted on "Healthy Eating for Families" and "Parent & Caregiver Stress Management," delivered by renowned nutritionist Mrs. Somaiya Siraji and psychologist Mrs. Farhana Afrin, respectively.Alongside the Family Health Forum, a Young Athletes Demonstration Program was organized to actively engage family members and children. The interactive session created enthusiasm, enjoyment, and active participation among the attendees.The event was attended by parents of students, professionals from various sectors, volunteers, and members of the local community, reflecting a shared commitment to promoting healthier lifestyles and strengthening support for individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families.
