Board Training Program for the Board of Special Olympics Bangladesh Conducted by SOAP Offiials.

As part of the Capacity Development Initiative of Special Olympics Asia Pacific, a Board Training Program was successfully organized for the Board of Directors of Special Olympics Bangladesh on 10 July 2026 at the Conference Room of the Chairman's Residence.

The interactive session was facilitated by Shruti Mehta, Senior Manager, Organizational Development, and Jovina Choo, Senior Manager, Sports, Special Olympics Asia Pacific.

More than just a training, the session evolved into a meaningful and engaging discussion on effective board governance, leadership, Board Rotation, strategic direction, and the vital role of the Board in advancing the mission of Special Olympics Bangladesh. The exchange of ideas and experiences inspired thoughtful reflection on strengthening governance and creating greater impact for persons with intellectual disabilities.

The program was graced by the presence of Chairman Mr. Moshiur Rahman, Vice Chairman Ms. Mamtaz Sultana, and other esteemed members of the Board, whose active participation made the session highly productive and inspiring.
